Flight attendant salary in Australia 2026–27

Flight attendant salary in Australia: the Aircraft Cabin Crew Award minimum for every level from 1 July 2026, what each level covers, casual rates, what flight attendants actually earn according to the ATO, and take-home pay in 2026–27.

A flight attendant earns at least $28.88 an hour ($57,065 a year) at Cabin crew member, up to $39.36 ($77,766) at Cabin crew manager (wide-bodied aircraft). The ATO median for flight attendants was $59,948 in 2023-24.

The Aircraft Cabin Crew Award sets the minimum pay for cabin crew. Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Australia and other airlines pay their crew under their own enterprise agreements, which set the actual rates, allowances and flying hours, so the award is the floor rather than what most crew earn.
