Why did QLD police pay go up in 2026?
The 2025 agreement has a CPI uplift clause. Brisbane inflation to March 2026 was higher than the 3% rise of 1 July 2025, so that rise became 3.5%, back-paid, and later rates were recalculated from the higher base.
When is the next pay rise?
From 1 July 2027, already set out in the agreement.
Is super included?
No. Employer super and allowances such as the area or detective allowance are paid on top.
